Muslims Funeral Services is an independent Muslim funeral service and a UK registered charity. One team handles every part of the funeral, in accordance with Islam and without additions or extravagance.

What we arrange
Each of these is part of an ordinary funeral with us, not an extra.
24-hour collection and transport
Collection from home, hospital, mortuary or the coroner in a private ambulance, anywhere in London and throughout the UK.
Care at our premises
Your loved one is kept in a clean, refrigerated and private facility at Mitcham Lane until the burial.
Ghusl and kafan
The washing and shrouding, carried out by male or female attendants as appropriate. Family members may take part if they wish.
Janazah arrangements
The prayer arranged with a mosque near the family, and the notice prepared so relatives and friends know the time and place.
Cemetery and grave
The plot booked, the grave prepared for a burial facing the qiblah, and the cemetery paperwork completed.
Documentation
Help with the medical certificate, registering the death, the certificate for burial, and consular papers where needed.
Repatriation
Preparation, documentation, embassy paperwork and airport transport for burial in another country.
Support where cost is a worry
Our Lawaaris community fund helps families who cannot meet the full cost. No family is turned away for being unable to pay.
The order of the funeral
Collection
From home, hospital, mortuary or the coroner, in a private ambulance.
Ghusl
The washing of the deceased, with water, camphor and sidr, as taught in the Sunnah.
Kafan
Shrouding in plain white cloth, simply and without extravagance.
Janazah
The funeral prayer, arranged with a mosque near the family.
Cemetery
The plot and the grave arranged, and the burial paperwork completed.
Dafn
The burial itself, facing the qiblah, with the family present.
Where we work
We are based at 73 Mitcham Lane, Streatham, and serve families across South London and Greater London. Collections and burials are arranged throughout the UK, and repatriation to anywhere in the world.
Funerals are arranged with the cemeteries in Lambeth, Wandsworth, Merton, Sutton, Croydon and Kingston, as well as dedicated Muslim burial grounds further out where a plot is not available nearby.
