Muslims Funeral Services is a UK registered charity, number 1149022. Donations to the Lawaaris fund pay for funerals that would otherwise not be paid for at all.
What the fund pays for
Funerals for the lawaaris
Where someone dies with no family in this country, the fund pays for their ghusl, kafan, grave and burial so they are buried with dignity.
Families who cannot pay
Where a family cannot meet the cemetery fee or our charge, the fund makes up the difference. No family is turned away for being unable to pay.
Sudden and complicated cases
Deaths of children, deaths away from home, and cases involving the coroner, where costs arise that a family had no way to plan for.
How to give
To make a donation, or to arrange a regular monthly gift, please contact us and we will confirm the current payment details for the fund. We would rather give you those details directly than publish account numbers on a web page.
Zakat and sadaqah are both accepted, and we will tell you honestly which part of the fund your donation can be applied to.
